Four outlets in Dubai have been fined during the latest round of inspections to ensure compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols.

Taking to Twitter, Dubai Economy said the shops in Al Rigga and Al Muraqqabat area were pulled up for their employees’ lack of commitment to wearing masks.

Warnings were also issued to two other commercial establishments for not abiding by the safety protocols.

A total of 539 outlets were found to be fully compliant with the precautionary measures during the latest field visits.

The authority has stressed that the inspections are aimed at educating establishments about the importance of complying with the rules, and urged residents to log violations via the Dubai Consumer app.
