According to media reports, police responded to sporadic unrest in the suburbs of Villeneuve-La-Garenne, Nanterre and Clichy after residents accused officers of using heavy-handed tactics to enforce lockdown measures.
Several images of people burning cars and shooting fireworks at officers were also published online.
Nine people have been arrested, with no injuries reported.
Similar incidents were reported over the weekend as strict lockdown measures remain in place to fight the coronavirus.
