Two injured after fallen drone debris hits houses in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday that debris from an intercepted drone fell on three houses and a number of vehicles in a residential neighbourhood in Al-Kharj governorate, leaving two individuals injured.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the official spokesperson for the Civil Defence as saying that the falling debris resulted in two minor injuries, one of whom was discharged from hospital after receiving the necessary medical care, in addition to limited material damage.

The authority's official spokesperson stated that standard procedures were carried out to deal with the incident, according to the Saudi Press Agency. 

The Ministry of Defense's spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Malki, also shared that four ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh Region were intercepted and destroyed, according to the local agency.
