Iranian attack kills one in Kuwait, damages distillation plant

Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has announced on Sunday that an Iranian attack has killed one worker and damaged a service building at one of its power and water distillation plants.

The ministry's spokesperson, Fatima Jawhar Hayat, said that technical and emergency teams have immediately dealt with the repercussions of the incident in line with the approved emergency plan, according to the Kuwait News Agency.

Hayat emphasised that the relevant teams continue to carry out its operation in coordination with security authorities to handle the damaged sites.
