A massive fire has broken out at a greeting card factory in the Indian capital of Delhi early Thursday, with 30 fire engines working towards controlling the blaze in the Naraina industrial area.

Initial reports have suggested that a telephone switchboard caught fire and the flames spread to other parts of the multi-storey building.

There have been no immediate reports of casualties.

It comes just days after a massive fire gutted a hotel in Delhi's Karol Bagh area, killing 17 people.
