Hong Kong braces for Typhoon Wipha

Residents in Hong Kong are bracing for a major tropical storm.

Forecasters say Typhoon Wipha is moving closer to China’s coast in the southwestern part of Guangdong.

They've raised the it to tropical cyclone signal eight, which is the third highest level on the scale.

Schools and financial markets closed early on Wednesday while employees were allowed to leave work early.
