Four countries condemn Iranian attack on Ras Laffan in Qatar

France, Spain, Bahrain, and India have condemned the Iranian attack that targeted Qatar's Ras Laffan Industrial City during separate phone calls with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Sheikh Tamim held discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, Spain's King Felipe VI, Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The leaders noted that the implications of the attack as a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability and undermines global energy supply security.

They also stressed the importance of reaching an immediate halt to military escalation targeting civilian infrastructure, particularly energy and water facilities, underscoring the need to protect civilians and safeguard energy supply security from the repercussions of this military aggression.

All countries also expressed their solidarity with Qatar in confronting this aggression during these critical times.
