Bahrain thwarts fresh wave of Iranian aerial attacks

Bahrain’s National Communication Centre says the country's defence force has repelled a new wave of attacks targeting the kingdom, intercepting and destroying 70 ballistic missiles and 59 Iranian drones.

The centre said the strikes targeted civilian facilities and private property, calling it a serious violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty and a breach of international law.

It added that the kingdom reserves the right to respond and take all necessary measures to protect its stability and the safety of citizens and residents.

Authorities also dealt with limited debris from the intercepted targets under established protocols, while monitoring operations continue at a high level of readiness.
