6-year-old migrant dies in Arizona desert

A six-year-old Indian migrant has died in an Arizona desert.

US Border Patrol said the girl died of a heat stroke after her mother left her with other migrants to find water.

Gurupreet Kaur was found dead just west of Lukeville, Arizona on Wednesday.

Temperatures in the area has reached a high of 42 degrees Celsius.

It's the second recorded death of a migrant child this year in Arizona.
