Star Trek Beyond spent nearly AED 120 million on its Dubai shoot. That’s according to Jamal Al Sharif, chairman of the Dubai Film and TV Commission, who says the movie beat the benchmark of AED 80 million set by Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. The film is set for a worldwide release on July 22 next year with a red-carpet premiere in Dubai.
