Real life American politics has become a topic of conversation ahead of the screening of one particular film at the Dubai International Film festival (DIFF). “Truth” is premiering tonight at the 12th edition of the fest, with big names Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, Topher Grace, Dennis Quaid and Elisabeth Moss set to grace the Madinat Arena. The film is based around the American TV station CBS’s 60 Minutes report on President Bush and whether he dodged the Vietnam draft. Director James Vanderbilt tells ARN News how the current US Presidential race has kept the conversation going.
