Jimmy Kimmel will guest host 'Live' with Kelly Ripa. Kelly's co-star Michael Strahan has quit the show in order to focus on 'Good Morning America' and the blonde beauty will be joined by a number of guest presenters while a replacement is being sought, starting with Jimmy. A post on the show's Facebook page read: "Monday, May 16th, Jimmy Kimmel will be Kelly's first guest co-host!" Michael's last day will be May 13 and was reportedly brought forward due to tension behind the scenes after Kelly was only told of his departure 20 minutes before it was announced to the public. Meanwhile, Mario Lopez recently hinted that he could replace Michael and admitted he was flattered by reports linking him to the role. He said: "That's very flattering. Very flattering. I know, people were saying that. I love Kelly. I've guest hosted with her a few times she's awesome. I actually did a movie with her husband Marc who's a really good guy. "I'm looking forward to going back and guest hosting again." Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper have also been tipped as replacements.
