Grammy Award-winning progressive metal legends Dream Theater will take to the centrestage at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena on January 27, 2026, as part of their 40th anniversary tour.

The iconic five-piece lineup of vocalist James LaBrie, guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, keyboardist Jordan Rudess, and drummer Mike Portnoy will deliver an extraordinary three-hour set including an interlude, showcasing the depth and virtuosity that has defined their four-decade career.

With a career spanning four decades, Dream Theater has established themselves as one of the most technically accomplished and creatively ambitious bands in rock history. The band's intricate compositions, virtuoso musicianship, and devoted global following have earned them three Grammy nominations, a 2022 Grammy award win for Best Metal Performance, and over 15 million records sold worldwide.

The Dubai performance follows the release of their sixteenth studio album, Parasomnia, released in February, which marks the reunion of the band's iconic lineup - their first album together since 2009's Black Clouds & Silver Linings. The 71-minute collection features the standout single Night Terror alongside tracks including A Broken Man, Dead Asleep, and the epic 19-minute closer The Shadow Man Incident.

John Petrucci, Dream Theater's guitarist revealed they are "super excited to return to Dubai and present our latest show to all of our incredible fans in the Middle East. "We’ll be celebrating our 40th anniversary, our latest album, Parasomnia, and of course the return of our brother, Mike Portnoy, to the band.

"It’s going to be an epic night of music and we are all looking forward to coming back to the region and performing for everyone."

Registration for pre-sale is open on the Coca-Cola Arena's official website, with the window opening on November 7 at 8:30 am. General sale will open on November 10 at 8:30 am, with ticket prices starting from AED 225 to AED 575.

Dream Theatre last performed in Dubai as part of their 25th anniversary tour in October 2017.
