Alexander Skarsgard meets Alexa Chung's parents

Alexa Chung introduced Alexander Skarsgard to her parents at Christmas. The 32-year-old beauty has been romancing the 39-year-old actor for almost a year and proved things are growing increasingly more serious between them by taking him back to the UK to celebrate the festive season with her loved ones. A source said: "Alexa's relationship with Alex is going great. "That's why she was happy for him to meet her family - she would only ever introduce someone she was serious about to them. "Alex seemed to get on well with Alexa's dad Philip." After Christmas, the couple then flew to Miami to celebrate the new year with friends including Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw. A source said: "Alex and Alexa looked really happy hanging out on the beach - her friends kept commenting on how great they looked as a couple and how totally into each other they were. "It seems as if Alex and Alexa could really go the distance." And during their festive trip to Alexa's home town of Privett, Hampshire, South England, they even visited the presenter's "dream wedding location", the Grade II-listed stately home Stansted Park. The source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Alexa has told friends this would be her dream wedding location - and now they are saying they wouldn't be surprised if an engagement was on the way."
