Abu Dhabi park to get AED 94 million upgrade

One of Abu Dhabi’s oldest parks is set to get a face lift. Khalidiya Ladies Park will be renamed Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Park after getting an upgrade worth AED 94 million. Designers hope to bridge the gap between the traditional park layout and more engaging space. Aiming to turn it into an entertainment space, the park will also launch social events and activities to meet the needs of residents. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2018.
