The UAE says it regrets the European Union's decision to reinstate it on a list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes.
According to the national news agency WAM, officials say the decision was made despite the emirate's ongoing efforts to fulfil all EU requirements.
They say the UAE remains firmly committed to its long-standing policy of meeting the highest international standards on taxation.
The emirates has also shared a detailed timeline of actions that it's currently implementing in accordance with its sovereign legal process and constitutional requirements with the EU.
