UAE President attends Germany-UAE Business Forum

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has attended the Germany-UAE Business Forum in Munich, as part of his state visit to Germany.

The event brought together senior business leaders, executives and investors from both countries.

Addressing participants, Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the important role of the private sector in strengthening the UAE-Germany strategic partnership.

He called for new opportunities for cooperation in key sectors and for expanding existing partnerships to boost investment ties.

The forum focused on strengthening economic and investment cooperation, particularly in innovation, advanced technology, artificial intelligence and industry.

It also saw the signing of 30 memoranda of understanding, agreements and commercial partnerships worth around 9.66 billion euros.

The deals cover a range of sectors, including renewable energy, oil and gas, advanced technology and AI, manufacturing, logistics, transport, aviation, healthcare, agriculture and food security.

Participants stressed the importance of expanding private-sector cooperation to support economic growth, improve competitiveness and create new opportunities for investment and joint projects.

The forum provided a platform for UAE and German businesses to explore new commercial opportunities and build long-term partnerships, further strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
