Gary Robinson of the Balmoral in Edinburgh, Scotland will be preparing shortbread, scones and strawberry jam. Gary Robinson is the former chef of HH The Prince of Wales.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

Balmoral scones - Makes 10-14 scones

  • 300g strong flour
  • 160g butter
  • 55g granulated sugar (white)
  • 40g baking powder
  • 75g full cream milk
  • Tub of plain yoghurt  (to make 100g buttermilk)
  • Medium size of clotted cream

Balmoral shortbread

  • 450g unsalted Edinburgh butter
  • 280g golden granulated sugar
  • 635g organic plain flour
  • 50g ground rice
  • 3g salt
  • Vanilla Pod

Strawberry jam - Makes 2 large jars

  • 500g strawberries
  • 500g granulated or caster sugar
  • 1 lemon
