In line with UAE's ambitious plans to slash greenhouse gas emissions by 31 per cent by 2030, the country will look at five priority sectors – electricity, transport, industry, waste management, and carbon capture.

We, at ARN News, took a closer look at one of those sectors - waste management, with Gavin McQuillan, Commercial Director of Environmental solutions at DULSCO, explaining how successful household waste recycling is in the UAE.

He delves into the challenges involved in trying to get the population to recycle properly.

The process of waste recycling and segregation is highly technical, and Gavin explained more about the facilities they have for the processes involved.

Their much-successful Recycling Bus has powered their efforts considerably, explains Gavin.
