The event focuses on doubling investment in climate-smart agriculture and advancing global food system innovation.

The Aim for Climate Summit started on May 8 in Washington DC and saw the UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the US Department of Agriculture come together to co-host the event.

UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri and numerous ministers, government officials and non-government representatives from several partner countries were in attendance.

In a recorded video message to the summit, President Biden thanked the UAE.
