Talks continue between the UN and the GCC in efforts to hammer out an agreement on the situation in Yemen. Secretary General of the GCC His Excellency Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met with the UN special envoy for Yemen, Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmed. The UN special envoy has been holding consultations between various parties in the country to try to restore peace and security. This comes as Houthi rebels continue to bomb hospitals in Taiz, wounding at least eight people overnight.
