DXB Media Office

Mosque imams, preachers, muezzins, muftis, religious scholars and researchers who have completed 20 years of work in Dubai will be granted UAE golden visas, and a financial award on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council issued the decision under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

As per a post on H.H. Sheikh Hamdan's official website, this is to appreciate religious scholars, teachers and preachers for their efforts and their societal role in upholding religious values and their contribution to promoting morals and tolerance that characterise the United Arab Emirates.
