The Ministry of Defence said UAE air defences intercepted 15 of the 16 ballistic missiles detected in the region on Saturday, with one falling into the sea.
Of the 121 drones detected, 119 were intercepted and 2 fell within the country's territory.
Since the start of the Iranian attack, 221 ballistic missiles were detected, with 205 of them destroyed, while 14 fell into the sea and 2 fell within the country's territory. Additionally, 1,305 Iranian drones were detected, and 1,229 were intercepted, while 76 fell within the country's territory.
Furthermore, 8 cruise missiles were detected and destroyed, causing some collateral damage.
Among the 3 fatalities were nationals of Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
Of the 112 injured were nationals of the UAE, Egypt, Ethiopia, Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros and Turkey.
The Ministry of Defence affirmed it is on high alert and ready to deal with any threats that target the state's security, thereby ensuring the preservation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its interests and national capabilities.
