UAE strongly condemns stabbing attack in French Alps

The UAE has strongly condemned a stabbing attack in the French Alps, that left four young children and two adults with critical injuries. 

Footage shared online showed the suspect, who police say is a 31-year-old Syrian national, running around a park before being chased away. 

The suspect has been arrested by police, who say there is no evidence of a link to terrorism and no indication of what his motive was.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) condemned the attack and wished the families of those injured a speedy recovery. 

One of the victims is just 22-months-old.
