UAE strongly condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi civilian, economic facilities

The UAE has strongly condemned Houthi rebels for attacking Saudi Arabia's civilian and economic facilities and targetting commercial vessels in the Red Sea.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that these attacks constitute a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a threat to maritime navigation.

The ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security and stability.

Saudi Press agency on Tuesday said 73 civilians were wounded in the attacks on cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.
