UAE stands in solidarity with Saudi Arabia over fighter jet crash

The UAE has expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with Saudi Arabia after a Royal Saudi air force fighter jet crashed during a training mission in Khamis Mushait leaving its crew dead.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) extended its sympathy to the government and people of Saudi Arabia, and to the families of those killed in the tragedy.

"An investigation committee has commenced its proceedings to unfold the reasons behind this accident," Saudi Arabia's state news agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday citing a defence ministry statement.
