UAE soldier martyred guarding charity workers in Yemen

The General Command of UAE Armed Forces has announced the martyrdom of an Emirati soldier in Yemen. Captain Hadif Humaid Al Shamsi was shot whilst guarding charity workers in the southern port city of Aden, whilst a second UAE soldier was wounded in the attack. He was taking part in the Saudi-led Arab coalition's ‘Operation Restoring Hope’, which aims to restore legitimacy in Yemen. The General Command extended its sincere condolences and solace to the family and relatives of the martyr.
