The UAE has responded to an appeal by the United Nations refugee agency to send much needed aid to migrants in Greece. The emergency aid comes at a critical time, as harsh winter conditions in parts of Europe threaten many lives. UNHCR says this year alone, sea arrivals in Greece have surpassed the half-million mark.
