UAE sends condolences to South Africa flood victims

The UAE has expressed its sorrow and solidarity with South Africa over the victims of floods in KwaZulu-Natal.

Heavy rains have swept through the coastal province, including the main city of Durban, with the death toll from the flooding and landslides rising above 300.

A state of disaster has been declared, with some areas experiencing months worth of rain in one day, and more floods expected.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has conveyed its sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
