UAE sends condolences to US after tornado kills over 80

The UAE has expressed solidarity with the United States after a battery of deadly tornadoes ripped through several states, killing over 80 people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has conveyed its sympathy to the US government and victims’ families and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

The storm system has left thousands without power and inflicted widespread damage, with Kentucky's governor Andy Beshear fearing the death toll in his state is likely to surpass 100.
