UAE sends additional aid to Syria and Turkey

For the 11th day in a row, the UAE has sent essential supplies to support people affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.

A total of 78 flights have been dispatched so far, carrying over 2,100 tonnes of aid.

These include 44 planes sent to Syria loaded with 1,630 tonnes of relief assistance and another 34 to Turkey, carrying 447 tonnes of aid.

The assistance is part of the UAE's 'Gallant Knight / 2' humanitarian operation.
