UAE sends 21.4 tonnes of food supplies to Yemen

The UAE has sent more than 21.4 tonnes of food supplies to residents in Yemen's Hadramaut Governorate.

According to national news agency WAM, the Emirates Red Crescent distributed 500 parcels in Mukalla district, which benefited 2,500 people from underprivileged families. 

A total of 29,910 food parcels were distributed by the UAE since the start of 2020, weighing 2,397.728 tonnes and benefitting 149,550 needy people in Hadramaut.
