The UAE confirmed 2,167 new cases of COVID-19 from 225,957 tests on Thursday.
Another 2,137 people have recovered taking the overall tally to 543,023.
Three patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,664.
A total of 563,215 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,528 are currently active.
Dubai's KHDA to resume school inspections
Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) will resume inspections for private schools starting from the 2026-27 academic year following a two-year suspension, with schools to be notified no more than 24 prior to the visits.
