The UAE has unequivocally rejected allegations made by the Permanent Representative of Sudan, alleging involvement in aggression or destabilisation in Sudan.
In a letter to the UN Security Council, the UAE said the allegations are "baseless" and "unfounded", and lack any credible evidence to support them.
The letter added that it's an attempt to divert attention from the conflict's humanitarian crisis.
Emphasising their longstanding brotherly relations with Sudan, the UAE stressed their commitment to peaceful resolution through dialogue, expressing disappointment at continued hostilities despite international calls for ceasefire.
In our letter to the UN Security Council, the UAE unequivocally rejects the baseless allegations made by the Permanent Representative of Sudan. Such claims are spurious and unfounded.
