The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has reduced the price of 573 medicines, between 2 and 74 per cent.
It will include medications required for treating diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular, nervous and respiratory system.
The decision is part of efforts by the ministry to ease the financial burden on patients in the Emirates.
