UAE reassures visitors affected by flight suspension

WAM

Visitors, who are not able to leave the UAE due to flight suspensions and the closure of borders, need not worry.

They will be allowed to stay in the country legally.

A special mechanism for this will be announced in the coming days by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA).

In a statement, the authority said it’s closely monitoring regional and international developments related to COVID-19 and it will continue to assist UAE residents and visitors.
