The UAE's response, through the Emirates International Aid Agency, comes within the framework of its established approach of extending help to countries and people affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
The floods in Ghana have so far impacted 131,825 people from 21,367 families, displacing 38,651 people with 45 recorded deaths.
The UAE's International Aid Agency teams are coordinating with local partners in Ghana to deliver relief aid to the most affected families, and to provide all forms of relief support and provide basic needs of food and shelter, which ensures a rapid early recovery and the achievement of stability.
