UAE President receives speaker of Turkish national assembly

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks on Tuesday with Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

The meeting, which was held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, emphasised support for common causes regionally and globally, and the role of parliaments in promoting peace and shared humanitarian values worldwide.

Sheikh Mohamed and Kurtulmuş also discussed relations between the UAE and Turkey and ways to enhance ties at all levels.

The visiting official conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his regards to the Turkish President and his wishes for further development and prosperity for his country and its people.
