The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today met with Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
The meeting, which took place at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, focused on bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation.
Sheikh Mohamed and Amir-Abdollahian also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, and stressed the importance of building on positive developments to benefit the people of the region.
The Iranian minister conveyed to Sheikh Mohamed the greetings of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who expressed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE.
Sheikh Mohamed also relayed similar sentiments and conveyed his greetings to his Iranian counterpart.
