The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday.
During the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, the two leaders discussed bilateral ties and explored opportunities for further collaboration.
They reviewed existing cooperation between the UAE and Malaysia and discussed ways to build on these ties, especially in the areas of economy, trade and investment, renewable energy and food security.
Sheikh Mohamed and Anwar Ibrahim also discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on various topics of mutual interest.
The Malaysian PM expressed his appreciation for the warm reception , and emphasised his country's keenness to expand collaboration with the UAE across various sectors.
