UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan at Qasr Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The meeting focused on strengthening the fraternal relations between the two nations and exploring ways to enhance cooperation across all areas.

The two leaders also discussed regional issues, including efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza, ensure the continued delivery of humanitarian aid, and oppose any attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people.

They emphasised the importance of promoting regional stability and preventing further escalation of conflict.

Sheikh Mohamed and King Abdullah reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation and coordination on matters of shared concern, supporting broader Arab cooperation.

After the talks, Sheikh Mohamed hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of the Jordanian delegation.
