UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday.
The meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi focused on recent events in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and the serious impact of the crisis on the Gaza Strip.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the need to work towards a ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid.
The meeting also addressed the need to intensify regional and international efforts to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
