Mother's Day: UAE leaders pay special tribute to mothers of fallen heroes

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has marked Mother's Day by paying a special tribute to mothers of fallen heroes, highlighting how their sacrifices "contributed to the stability and advancement" of the nation.

In a post on social media platform X, His Highness noted that the country "will forever remain inspired by their courage". 

He also expressed his appreciation to mothers "especially in challenging times", emphasising their efforts to "instill the values of loyalty and duty across generations".

"Through their determination and resilience, mothers are a source of lasting strength for our nation and society," he added. 

Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also expressed his appreciation to the mothers of martyrs, sacrificing heroes, and "men and women who make a difference every day in our homelands".
