UAE President, Canadian PM discusses boosting economic ties

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has looked into strengthening economic and investment ties with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in a phone call on Friday.

Both leaders reviewed ways to boost collaboration in sectors that support their development priorities, including advanced technology and artificial intelligence.

They also affirmed their commitment to further advancing UAE-Canada relations and developing long-term, sustainable partnerships. 

The two sides also discussed several regional and international issues, particularly developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to promote security, stability and peace in the region.
