UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, offered their condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, on the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The leaders expressed their sympathy to Sheikh Mohammed and the Al Maktoum family during their visit to Zabeel, Dubai.
Among those offering condolences were His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; as well as His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
Crown Princes from across the Emirates also conveyed their condolences, including Abu Dhabi Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with the Crown Princes of Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
A number of Sheikhs and senior officials were also in attendance.
Their Highnesses reflected on the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid's legacy of service and his contributions to the UAE and its communities.
His service dates back to the early years of the country’s founding and the establishment of its national institutions.
