Authorities in the UAE are closely monitoring unstable weather conditions that will affect the country until Tuesday and are assessing the readiness levels of all relevant entities.
Rain of varying intensities and strong winds have been forecast across the country's northern, eastern and western regions, with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) warning of reduced visibility and rough seas.
Teams from the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) and the Ministry of Interior (MoI) are on high alert.
The weather bureau said the country will be influenced by the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the south.
People are urged to rely only on information from official sources, avoid waterlogged areas and exercise caution.
