UAE leaders highlight youth's role central to nation's future

Marking International Youth Day, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has led messages emphasising the central role young people play in "achieving a future in which opportunity can grow for all".

In a post shared on social media platform X, His Highness reaffirmed the country's "deep-rooted confidence" in the UAE's youth, praising their continued contributions to the nation’s development.

"The UAE is determined to continue empowering youth as a lasting investment in the shared progress and prosperity of our world," he added. 

Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, praised the youth for leading "the greatest scientific, economic, and technological projects".

He highlighted that their energy is the "primary driving force that takes them to the top", adding that investing in and empowering the young people of the country will continue to remain a national priority.
