Several landmarks in the UAE have lit up in solidarity with China over the coronavirus outbreak.

The Burj Khalifa and the ADNOC headquarters in Abu Dhabi displayed the colours of the Chinese flag as well as messages of support for Wuhan and Chinese communities around the world.

The Burj Al Arab, the Emirates Palace hotel, Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Bridge and Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain were some of the other buildings that were decked up.

The UAE has expressed confidence that China will be able to contain and control the spread of the new virus.
