UAE, EU Parliament President discuss Iran attacks in region

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed today during a telephone call with Her Excellency Roberta Mizzola, President of the European Parliament, the escalating military and security situation in the region and its repercussions on regional and international peace and security.

The European Parliament President expressed her condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the United Arab Emirates and a number of sister countries in the region.

Her Excellency Roberta Mizzola stressed that they increase the tension and escalation in the region and represent a serious violation of state sovereignty and a threat to regional security and stability.

She also expressed her solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, praising the efficiency of its defense systems and its ability to ensure the safety of its population and protect its vital infrastructure.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed expressed his thanks to Her Excellency Roberta Mitzola for her supportive stance towards the UAE.
