UAE condemns Iranian attacks on Iraq's Kurdistan

The UAE has strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the private office of Iraqi Kurdish Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and the home of its security intelligence chief in Iraq's Kurdistan region.

The attacks include two drones launched at Barzani's office and the residence of the Director of the Protection Agency in Erbil on Monday, with no casualties reported.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that Iran's actions constitute a blatant violation of Iraq and its Kurdistan region's sovereignty, as well as a threat to their security and stability

The ministry also expressed the UAE's full solidarity with Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government, and its support for all measures to protect its people.
